The Chief Rules of Love

It is understood that love will most undoubtedly influences one’s life at some point or another; however, let this warning remain ever present in your mind: Your beloved must be trustworthy if you intend to marry them. If you do marry your beloved and tell them about what you do, they must understand the grave importance of why we must remain hidden from most of the world. If your beloved does reveal what has been confided in them, actions will be taken by the Blade Dancers to suppress the involved party or parties.

Avoid avarice like the deadly pestilence and embrace its opposite

Keep yourself chaste for the sake of the one you love

Do not knowingly strive to break up a correct love affair that someone else is engaged in

Be mindful to avoid falsehood

Do not let many know of your love affair

In giving and receiving love’s solaces let modesty be every present

Speak no Evil

Do not be a revealer of love affairs

Be in all things polite and courteous

In practicing the solaces of love you shall not exceed the desires of your lover

No one should be deprived of love without the very best of reasons

Love is always a stranger in the house of avarice

Good character alone makes any man or woman worthy of love

Every act of a lover ends in the though of his or her beloved

A true lover considers nothing good except what he or she thins will please his or her beloved

Love can deny nothing to love

A lover can never have enough of the solaces of his or her beloved

A man or woman who is vexed by too much passion usually does not love

A true lover is constantly and without intermission possessed by the though of his or her beloved

Nothing forbids one woman being loved by two men or one man by two women
